The portrait of the Swiss-based artist Simon Berger used window glass as a canvas. Instead of a brush, I use a hammer and a chisel for drawing.
Originally a carpenter, Mr Simon was familiar with how to use it … However, he said that he spent a lot of time researching just the right amount of force when hitting the glass and the ideal way to crack.
This work uses an extremely analogue method in the age when technology and art are getting closer. In other words, it may not be the “method” that moves the human heart.
