Wrap up for the Camberwell Rotary Art Show – this is why I love supporting this massive voluntary creative effort. 1330 artworks were chosen and hung in one day. Imagine the Curator’s task of wading through nearly for times that many online on @gallery247 to arrive at the final selection. Painting sales topped $400,000 and 4,000 visitors attended over the 10 days of the exhibition, making this the largest in Australia. Rotary Club of Camberwell raised $140,000 to distribute to worthy local and international projects. And all this was done by volunteers who love art and community involvement. Was a privilege to be involved.
